Creating your course of study is easy!<\/h2>\n[vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section i_type=”fontawesome” i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-check-square-o” add_icon=”true” title=”Step 1 – Find your student’s course page:” tab_id=”1632164910854-e95a9199-8152″][vc_column_text]After you have changed your temporary password to a permanent one, you will gain access to Central. \u00a0The first thing you will see is your member dashboard. \u00a0The word \u201cStudent\u201d will be on the left side of the page.\u00a0 Find the name of the student you are seeking and click on the eye icon next to his\/her name.\u00a0 This will open that student\u2019s course page.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_type=”fontawesome” i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-check-square-o” add_icon=”true” title=”Step 2 – Add your student’s courses:” tab_id=”1632164910855-c0833952-3993″][vc_column_text]Look for the blue button labeled “Add Courses.” When you click on this button it will scroll you down to a drop-down menu titled \u201cSelect Course Level.\u201d\u00a0 Click the down arrow and select \u201cElementary K-6.\u201d\u00a0 This will open another drop-down menu titled \u201cSelect Course.\u201d\u00a0 When you click on that down arrow, you will see \u201cEnglish\/Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, Social Studies\/History, and Unlisted Course.\u201d\u00a0 To set up each course you need, click on that course title and click save.<\/p>\n

Some families like to set up the ELA subject areas as separate courses, i.e. Reading, Vocabulary, Phonics, Grammar, Spelling, Composition, and etc. rather than entering all of the ELA materials in one ELA course.\u00a0 If you prefer setting them up separately, choose “Unlisted Course” from the menu, name the course, and then click save. \u00a0\u201cUnlisted Course\u201d option is also used for extra-curricular courses such as Bible, P. E., Piano, Spanish, and such that aren’t included in the course menu.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_type=”fontawesome” i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-check-square-o” add_icon=”true” title=”Step 3 – Add your resources:” tab_id=”1632164972217-61074c31-eba1″][vc_column_text]Once you have added all your courses, you are ready to add your resources for each course. Click on the pink button that says, \u201cResource Needed.\u201d\u00a0 From here you begin selecting the type of resource and adding the needed information about that resource.\u00a0\u00a0 Please be sure to add the publisher and the pages\/lessons\/chapters in that resource.\u00a0 There are a variety of types of resources you may use.\u00a0 It is not necessary to add things like teacher\u2019s editions or answer keys to the list.
